Frequently Asked Questions
What type of wax is used in the candles?
We use all-natural soy wax to give you a better experience

What is soy wax?
Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans. After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. It is eco-friendly, renewable, American grown, sustainable, carbon neutral; the list goes on and on.

What type of fragrance is used in the candles?
All of our products contain essential and fragrance oils that are free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrances.

Why isn't my candle releasing a strong fragrance?
Some fragrances can be stronger than others in soy wax. However, single wick candles are made for smaller areas as triple wick candles are made for bigger areas. Try moving your candle to a smaller room for best performance.

Why does my wick look like a mushroom?
The wick “mushrooming” is due to carbon buildup. This is very common. Be sure to trim your wick to 1/4" each time you burn the candle.

Why does my candle have rough, pitted tops after burning?
The rough, pitted tops happen due to the all-natural soy wax that is used in the candles and is common. This will not affect the performance of the candle.

Why is my candle releasing soot?
Soot is a natural part of any candle burning. If your candle is releasing soot, it can be due to carbon build-up on the wicks. Make sure to trim the wicks of the candle and avoid over-burning the candle.
