Candle Care & Safety

Please read before use of any candle or wax melt product.
Cotton Wick Care
-
Only burn candle for 4 hours at a time so that your candle can create a “memory” and prevent tunneling.
-
Before each burn cycle, be sure to trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting.
-
Try not to burn less than 3 ½ - 4 hours to prevent tunneling which can cause your candle not to give off the best performance.
-
When wax reaches to 1/2 inch from the bottom, please discontinue use.
Wooden Wick Care
-
Wooden wicks are completely different than regular cotton wicks; therefore, they burn differently.
-
Make sure you trim the wick before lighting, (a wick trimmer will give the best trim, nail clippers will do trick too).
-
Sometimes, wooden wicks can be tricky to light on the first burn.
-
Light the wick for at least 5-10 seconds so that it can catch a flame.
-
If the flame happens to distinguish right after lighting it for the first time, you may need to trim it a little lower.
-
Burn the candle for at least 3 ½ to 4 hours so that a full melt pool is created and reached the sides of the jar (this is for optimal fragrance performance).
-
Burn in cycles of 4 hours and always trim off the charred wick before lighting another cycle.
-
Try not to burn less than 3 ½ - 4 hours to prevent tunneling which can cause your candle not to give off the best performance.
-
Candles have a “memory,” so if you burn it right the first time, it will give you the most excellent performance every time.
-
When wax reaches to 1/2 inch from the bottom, please discontinue use.
